I have been practicing feeling my fears and dread and anger right alongside, and in the same moment as, my love and delight. It's like spiritual PT, and often what comes to me are images of the trees, covered in snow, in the deep silence of snowfall in the mountains. I take that as a reminder to remain close to the land, not get pulled into a mental tailspin, and to preserve my energy for long-term well being, just like the trees do in the winters.
